I've been using the iPad Pro since the first Gen 12.9 and iPads since the Gen 1 that I bought on launch day. During that time I have dragged them around the globe / pulled them out of a crowded back pack thousands of times, stuffed them in the front pocket of my luggage in a hurry and generally not worried about them at all. For 3 of those years I ran a hardware company that utilized iPads for control and would often travel with 3 or more iPads stuffed in my bag I have had zero issues with bending or warping. (TSA often gave me the evil eye as did customs agents...)

I completely understand your concerns, but as I have said before in my comments here on Medium, I believe that some of the bend paranoia is totally fabricated for the purpose of clickbait or due to a very low number of incidents (that probably involved abject carelessness) reaching viral status.
