I don’t get the boring thing either.🤔 The 16 Pro vs 16 “seems” to have a bit more focus on video creation with better battery life, USB 3, and higher base storage on the Pro Max. The only feature that entices to move from the 15 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max is the Camera Button and I don’t think that really justifies a change since the camera is not a major feature for me…maybe it would be? Dunno….

IMHO - by having total control over hardware, chip design, and OS Apple puts more effort into creating a seamless experience. Samsung and even Google can’t do that on Android because the OS needs to work on such a fragmented array of hardware, processors, and screen sizes. They kind of have to create the “gee whiz” factor from gimmicks to create any market differentiation. I’m sure they build great devices but the key experiential driver for me is how everything works together across all of my devices.
