Great point, Michael. It’s not just Apple anymore although they seemingly pioneered it with the MacBook Air. On the other hand, my 2024 MBA is ½ the thickness and about 1.5 pounds lighter than the last MacBook I had with replaceable RAM, HDD, and Battery.
I’ve not had a Mac hardware failure in almost 10 years but routinely have to have our Dell XPS looked at for some reason or another.
